On Tuesday I got a text from one of my Cross Country girls, Bailey. She says "Hey what are your kids doing? Do they want to come outside and see my horse? I am in front of your house." When I read that, I told Emma to grab her shoes and join me outside. She was confused, but did as I asked. Stockton was already outside on his bike with some boys down the street. When they saw Bailey, with a horse, they were both delighted! We stood there petting Pal for a good 5 to 10 minutes, during which Stockton assured me "Mom, Mom, I am going to own a horse when I get big." You have to understand, this kid is obsessed with horses. Any time one comes on tv, or he sees one when we are out, he stops what he is doing, and just stands there and watches. Its one of the few things that can convince the kid to stop talking. His favorite movie is Sea Biscuit, and every time we have a family movie night he suggests we watch it. This is after he went through a huge Spirit phase at about 3. He would watch nothing else for months. He now has a stuffed horse that looks a lot like Spirit that he will "ride" through the house any time he has seen a horse. The boy is obsessed I am telling you.
