The Lady Who Never Takes Her Camera Anywhere

That's me. I never remember my camera till its too late. I can't tell you how many times Stuart has asked me if I have the camera only to hear the "No" he was planning on hearing. I keep trying to get him to take control of the camera and picture taking responsibilities for our family, but so far its not working. I fully intend to have very upset grown children someday because I have missed so many things, and compared to most have very few pictures of my babies. They can tell their therapists about it someday. :)

Our recent vacation was not exception to this rule of my life. My SIL Kristen and her hubby Camron were kind enough to take our kids off our hands for a WHOLE WEEK! Who would turn that down? Start and I stewed over what to do and where to go. When we were both honest about it, we decided that we were just plain tired. A vacation sounded like work, and we don't have tons of money to spend. What we both wanted after a crazy few months of house renovations, coaching, moving, and all that comes with all of that we decided on a nice relaxing stay cation of sorts. We price lined a nice hotel in St. George for 4 nights and went up to enjoy some peace and quiet. And Enjoy we did! We spent 5 days and 4 nights being bums. We slept in, went out to eat, saw some movies, enjoyed the hotel pool and spa, did a little casual shopping, enjoyed some time with some great friends, but mostly just enjoyed being able to spend uninterrupted time together. It was great. I love my babies, but it was nice to not worry about any one's needs for a week. And not one picture to show for it. Oops.

When we got the kids back, it was nice to see them, and I'm pretty sure they talked for about 48 hours straight telling us all about the fun and adventures they had. They love Aunt T, and uncle Camron, and they didn't disappoint. Thank you so much for the break guys. And I will try to do better at remembering the camera. TRY!
